CMS Needs

GameTime sells tickets for live events online, especially last-minute tickets. It built a custom-coded e-commerce platform and needed an easy-to-use content management system to integrate with it by API. A headless CMS was necessary for this application.

How GameTime used Butter to reach their goals

GameTime uses Butter's collections to create content for each performer, and each venue that can be reused with each new event that has tickets. Also Butter Categories to group performers by whether they are a musicians, sports team, or other. SEO Meta titles and descriptions for events can be made programmatically by connecting their database to the Butter API. This speeds up their SEO testing. They can also create dynamic pages based on the web viewer’s geolocation pulling in Butter content components to make the page.

GameTime is looking to explore new features in ButterCMS, including the WriteAPI for even more streamlined content updates, multi-locale support to reach international audiences, and AI Assistant to automate and personalize content. These tools will help GameTime further optimize content management and enhance user experience across platforms.
